Dia de mudanças!

Hoje aspirei o chão do quarto,
voltei a minha secretária
de frente para a janela
e deixei-me inspirar
pelos primeiros ares de primavera.
A segunda inspiração resultou de
uma imaginada rápida incursão
pelo mercado a que a falta de leite e pão
me obrigavam…
acontece que pelo caminho cumpriu-se o achado:
dois andares de cores, pincéis e papéis
que o (por enquanto) bom tempo iluminava
e me convidava a entrar.
Entrei e, pela falta de condições
para outros materiais,
rendi-me ao pastel e outras colagens…

A parede do meu quarto...

... com vista sob uma garrafa de vinho!

Hove (Brighton and...)

Brighton West Pier

Late 1920's
"The pier opened in 1866, and was England's finest seaside pier and the first one to be Grade I listed.
Although closed in 1975 and ravaged by the elements,
it has survived as a magical and enduring part of seaside England
and an essential feature of the Brighton seafront" (...)

March 8, 2009
"The Trust's engineers had identified the south-east corner of the Concert Hall as weak during 2002
and it was hoped that emergency works could take place to stabilise that section.
However, the bureaucratic delays caused by the Palace Pier owners' legal challenges led to funding delays
and as a direct result, that corner of the Concert Hall collapsed in a storm on 29th December 2002.
On 28th March 2003 the Pavilion was destroyed in an arson attack,
and on 11th May 2003 the Concert Hall also was burnt out deliberately".

Heavy snow hits much of England

as forecasters warned of the most severe snow for six years (...)" BBC News.

Da janela da cozinha...
E eu do lado de fora da janela
